E-Safety
At Houghton Primary school the E-Safety curriculum is taught within our Computing Curriculum with links being made within the PSHE Curriculum.
In years 1&2 we focus on using technology safely and respectfully, keeping personal information private. We work with the children to identify where to go for help and support when they have concerns about content or contact on the internet or other online technologies.
During years 3-6 the focus is on using technology safely, respectfully and responsibly. We work with the children to help them recognise acceptable/unacceptable behaviour and to identify a range of ways to report concerns about content and contact.
E-Safety is taught on a termly basis in all year groups.
